Hi all! Due to interest from these workshops we ran last summer, we hope you can join us for another fun evening learning how to shoot steel wool and light painting.

Led by Bryan McGowan (@bemcgowanphotography) and Andre Von Nickisch (@vnr.photography), you will have the opportunity to have hands on practice along with tips and tricks on how to achieve great photos with this type of photography.

Bryan and Andre have a great deal of experience turning these types of shots into spectacular images.

Types of shots you can expect?

You will get overhead, side profile and orb type spins and if everyone gets comfortable with camera settings there will also be 2 people spinning at once. For light painting there will be multiple areas explored including LED on string, light tube and light whip. All very different and giving different looks.

You'll visit one of the darkest night sky locations in Southern Ontario. This unique spot offers an excellent opportunity to learn how to shoot the night sky and the stars.

We are excited to be doing a workshop with Shania Amanika for a Fashion Photography Workshop where we will focus on studio lighting setups, we will discuss the specific lighting for each set up and why we are lighting the subject/ outfit with that specific modifier and angle to achieve a few interesting looks to help you build your portfolio.
